Murud - Different Angle

Hi Everyone,

My-self Vinayak. I am from a town Roha in Maharashtra, India. I am BE IT Pass out 2009 batch. Through this blog I would like to express my opinions and views about various thing around me. Enough about me now.

I visited a place named Murud near my home town Roha. It is approximately 60 kms away from Roha, and is a famous holiday place for people in Mumbai and Pune. Murud is famous for the Janjira Fort, Which is in the Sea. But apart from that there is palace called Rajpuri, which I saw along my journey to Murud. Below are some picture of Rajapuri Palace.

I thought we had to buy a ticket to watch this great building, but it wasn't like that. It was absolutely free to watch it. There was not a single person apart from us; neither a care taker nor a security guard. And if you look the pictures carefully you will find that the walls are really in bad condition. I found no one their who is looking after it.

Rajapuri Palace.

The building in the above picture is really in a worst condition. You can see plants taking their roots at the top of the building.

Here in this Picture you will find that some part of the roof is missing. Some of the rocks at the top are missing.

See this beautiful carving and also the dirt around the wall.

One of great ancient age buildings, which should be looked upon by the Government. Isn't it????
